The Tarlac State University (TSU)
has over the years, grown from a simple Trade School
into technical, then Technological and now, into a
Comprehensive University offering forty-four (44)
curricular programs with thirty-six (36) different
majors of studies from the Laboratory School to the
Graduate School. |

The growing number of course programs is
in direct response to address the needs of the province
for more relevant courses. The inclusion of short term and
modularized program in Language proficiency, computer studies
and entrepreneurial undertakings are meant to enhance students’
skills for greater productivity and easy integration into
the labor force needed in the country and in the global
communities.
TSU as a level III institution nationwide
has maintained such level over the years. With almost all
its curricular programs accredited, and with enhanced research
and extension services, the highest Institutional Leveling
is targeted in the coming years depending on the consistent
quality performances and ratings of its programs, students
and faculty.
Programs for development are available
and continuing for faculty, students and personnel. The
student scholarships abound and keep on going. Career growth,
personal development and conducive organizational climate
are assured in this university.

Tarlac State University is one of the best
institutions in Region III with almost all of its curricular
offerings accredited by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered
Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP) and
with State Universities and Colleges (SUC) Level 3-A status.
At present, the TSU is rapidly growing in terms of development
and internationalization.
The university is proud to announce
that they have the top caliber Doctors of Veterinary Medicine
practitioners where social consciousness, professional ethics
and a sense of responsibility is the utmost concern.
Presidential Decree 609 creating Tarlac College of Agriculture
stated the need to establish the Institute of Veterinary
Medicine (IVM) curriculum. It was in 1982 that the Institute
of Veterinary Medicine was finally created.
The college’s goal is to achieve an excellent quality of
graduates through the provision of the best environment
for the education and training of its students on areas
such as faculty force, facilities, placement and curricular
program.
The college aims to produce effective veterinarians that
are excellent in animal health and production and to sustain
the needs of competent and globally competitive veterinarians
that could assist in sustaining the development of the animal
industry and that of the population.
The amenities of the campus includes academic facilities,
computer centers, laboratories for instructions, research
and development laboratories, training centers, dormitories
and residence halls, sports complex, students lounge, parks,
multi-purpose center for cultural and arts presentation,
and research and production stations for livestock, aquaculture,
and horticulture production.
